The AMO Foundation is a registered non-governmental organization (NGO) in Tanzania, with registration number 00NGO/R/4765. The organization focuses on empowering young people (both male and female), women, children, and individuals with special needs. In its ongoing efforts, the foundation has been involved in various community activities across Tanzania and beyond. These include educating youth on different aspects of life, planting trees, visiting young entrepreneurs, and supporting people with disabilities and those with special needs.
Through its community empowerment initiatives, the foundation launched a campaign to encourage youth to take responsibility and work hard, named 'VIJANA KAZINI' (Youth at Work). This campaign was officially launched on August 12, 2023, as part of the celebration of International Youth Day, with the Guest of Honor being Hon. Mussa Azan Zungu, the then Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of the United Republic of Tanzania.
Amo Foundation ni shirika lisilo la kiserikali lililosajiriwa kwa namba 00NGO/R/4765, nchini Tanzania, ambalo linafanya kazi za uwezeshaji kwa vijana (wa kiume na wa kike), wanawake, watoto, na watu wenye uhitaji maalumu. Katika kuendeleza shughuli zake, shirika limekuwa likifanya shughuli mbalimbali za kijamii nchini Tanzania na kwingineko, kama vile kutoa elimu kwa vijana juu ya nyanja mbalimbali za maisha, kupanda miti, kuwatembelea vijana wajasiriamali, walemavu na watu wenye uhitaji maalumu.
Kupitia mikakati yake ya kuiwezesha jamii, shirika limeanzisha kampeni ya kuhamasisha vijana kuwajibika kufanya kazi kwa bidii ambayo imepewa jina la VIJANA KAZINI. Kampeni hii ilizinduliwa tarehe 12 Agosti 2023 ambayo ilitumika kuazimisha siku maalumu ya Vijana Duniani, na Mgeni rasmi alikuwa Mhe. Mussa Azan Zungu-Naibu spika wa wakati huo wa Bunge la Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania.

1. Advocate for the change of negative attitudes, behaviors, and beliefs among the public that act as barriers and obstacles to women's peace, their role and contribution in the political process, decision-making, development, and their participation in peacebuilding.
2. Increase community awareness and education about women's peace, the peacebuilding process, women's rights, their roles, and their contributions to peacebuilding.
3. Promote the principle of anti-discrimination and gender equality within the community.
4. Encourage the development of gifted young people by providing equal opportunities based exclusively on professional abilities and skills, and sponsor their education, professional training, and career development.
5. Foster the development of environmental awareness.
